The Shop & Kitchen Studio

I’m thrilled to share that the Monroe Street Bakery Shop & Kitchen Studio will be opening in August. I’ll be located at 31b Eltisley Avenue, but please note the entrance is round the corner on Grantchester Street. If you get to 31b Eltisley Avenue, walk up to the corner, turn right past the jeweller, and you’ll find the blackboard and wooden gate into the garden on your right.

If the gate is open, I’m there. Please come in! “Official” opening hours for the first couple of weeks are as follows:

August 6th, 9am - 12:30pm

August 7th, 9am - 12:30pm

August 9th, 9am - 12:30pm

August 16th, 9am - 12:30pm

I’ll be open more regularly once the school holidays are over. Please be patient with me in these first few weeks! Juggling opening this shop, wedding season and childcare is proving to be a lot. I’ll keep the hours updated on Instagram and write them on the blackboard on the gate.

During the week I’ll have a small selection of baked goods, treats packaged up ready to go, and some pantry items available. On Saturday mornings I’ll host an open bakery with a wider range of sweet treats and fresh flowers. Everything is set up to be taken away, but there are a few seats in the garden if you’d like to sit and eat for a moment. Please note I do not sell tea and coffee — Marsi at Flux is incredibly talented so I ask that you nip round the corner and support her.

I’m always happy to take any pre-orders or custom orders. Please come by or contact me via email or the form below. I can also now host private baking and cake decorating classes so if you want to chat about that, do get in touch.
